Interpreting

We are certified in compliance with ISO 23155:2022 (Interpreting Services – Conference interpreting).

Simultaneous interpreting is normally performed by a pair of interpreters per language who follow the presentations through headsets and simultaneously translate for an audience. The members of the audience are provided with headphones from which they can listen to the simultaneous translation in their own language.
Simultaneous services are normally organised for international conferences, conventions and meetings and require specific equipment: a sound-proof booth with a reception/transmission system with headsets, microphones, etc. and a meeting room also equipped for speakers making presentations from a stage and an audience equipped with headsets.

Technological advancement has facilitated the emergence of RSI platforms, such as  Kudo and  Boostlingo. These platforms provide services comparable to on-site interpreting while ensuring security and GDPR compliance.

Through a network of interconnected platforms, interpreters translate in real time for participants. This technology also enables us to record events and add automatic subtitles, significantly reducing travel costs and the need for specialised equipment. The automatic subtitles can then be corrected and translated.

Participation is effortless – attendees simply log in through a web browser or dedicated app on their personal devices. Meanwhile, our highly skilled interpreters work from technically equipped, soundproofed environments, collaborating in pairs to ensure seamless service and unwavering quality.

If during a conference or meeting just a single individual requires the presentations to be translated, a simultaneous interpreter may be assigned who whispers the translation into the attendee’s ear. This service is normally performed by just one simultaneous interpreter per language.

Performed by interpreters who translate what a speaker is saying without the use of special equipment (booth, headsets, microphones, etc.) at intervals of 5-10 minutes. The interpreter and speaker take turns: the interpreter listens to the presentation and takes notes during the period of time established and then provides the audience with a summary in their own language.
This type of interpreting is used when only one foreign language is required and normally for short, formal events, such as press conferences or for formal round tables.

Translating during a business meeting between two or more parties at a company and accompanying them during visits to factories, customers, etc.
This type of service also includes interpreting for technical training, accompanying foreign delegations and language assistance during trade fairs or events.
