The solution
A special Project Manager selected the most suitable interpreter for this particular assignment, someone who met all four of the requirements indicated above.
Remote interpreting took place in a series of online meetings in which certain topics regarding the petrochemical sector were discussed, particularly in relation to lubricants and fuels. The meetings were held with the companies for which our client is the official Italian distributor.
We worked closely with our client to create a glossary of terms for them to use both generally and at the event itself. Once the terminology had been agreed, the PM was responsible for obtaining all the material required for this event. Meticulous planning ensured that the online event was a great success.
The result
The client was impressed with the language knowledge and technical skills of our staff and the efficiency with which each stage of the process was carried out in order to ensure that the event ran smoothly.
